While it’s true that some of the leagues under analysis are proving difficult nuts to crack (MLS in America being a right conker!), it’s equally apparent that there are some true gems, during this summer of somnolence in Europe, that have emerged in the Far East. In the fast-moving world of football predictions we previously reported that the Scandinavian leagues were all close to coming on stream. Alas, our optimism has proven to be, well, optimistic, truth be told. Finland is on-stream and performing well up to standards, but Sweden and Norway are proving to be rather more problematic.
But the team has been busy and thankfully the Asians have come galloping to the rescue – :-). Performing well so early in their season is the South Korean K-League and both the Chinese Super League and the Singaporean S-League are also well inside the 70% bracket. The two Japanese leagues (the inspirationally named J-League & J-League 2) are also bringing successful picks to the table and the Australian Victorian Premier League is on-stream as well. We’re continuing to analyse the Swedish & Norwegians and remain confident they’ll be up and running before too long.
Watch the website for a new section shortly to be added detailing leagues currently under analysis.
Happy picking…….and good luck. Naturally.
Looking for success last weekend you would have been better advised to cast your net in foreign waters – the Dutch Eredivisie, in particular, notable for it’s current hot streak. These leagues are all in the process of running down now, with the English and Scottish leagues all if not already done then just a couple of games away from their summer hollybags.
Thankfully we’re able to bring on stream several new foreign leagues, with the Japanese J-League and the Australian Victoria NPL showing particular early promise.
Check it all out – The System
Following a stuttering start to the weekend, Saturday through into Sunday erupted into a bonanza, peaking at an impressive 82.8% success rate
Don’t take our word for it, check it out here (don’t forget to sort by date) – SX2 Archive
A further update on arrival on-stream of leagues currently undergoing analysis (percentages are current pick success rate):
Irish Airtricity – 87.5% (eta 1 week)
Norwegian Tippligaen – 75% (eta 2 weeks)
Swedish Allsvenskan – 50% (eta not yet determined)
Australian NPL Victoria – 83.3% (eta 2 weeks)
Australian NPL NSW – 80% (eta 2 weeks)
Chinese Super League – 70% (eta 1 week)
Japanese J-League – 70% (eta 1 week)
And so the good fight goes on – the unending search for yet more contributory leagues continues. Norway is maybe 3 weeks from going live, Sweden slightly longer and Finland a wee bit longer still. In an astonishing ‘faux pas’ by our R&D department these leagues were initially excluded from even archival analysis because they were deemed to be not lucrative enough but subsequent research has, fortunately, put the lie to that! (‘Rest assured, heads have rolled’ – Ed) Newcomers to the system might be unaware that a major objective of the system is to find leagues that will sustain our members over the more traditionally ‘arid’ summer months.
To wit, further good news, the Irish Premier league is also poised to go on-stream, after very good early season returns.
Coming soon too – the anarchic blogging of ‘Angry Andy’, the most opinionated, self-confessed relentlessly ‘angry’ football pundit we’ve managed to find on the west coast of Scotland, who will shortly begin dispensing his often odious opinions in a new blog (we censor nothing, save for ridiculously gratuitous bad language) – watch out for news on the arrival of that.
And watch out too for the return of The Whistleblower, back from a sabbatical – the system’s very own champion of sense and all things inherently logical, iterator of the seemingly patently obvious and a man on a mission to both prove the efficacy of the system (he is, after all, employed by us) and also to rubbish some of it’s more esoteric picks, bless him
